    About

My research program focuses on questions at the plant-soil interface, specifically how differences in soil resource availability influences ecological processes.   We are particularly interested in the functional and performance traits that influence plant acclimation and adaptation to resource-poor environments.  There are four main areas addressed by my research program:
·Morphological and physiological traits associated with plant invasiveness
·Environmental and evolutionary constraints on plant nutrient resorption
·Plant adaptation to unique soil types
    ·Ecology of aridland communities
